My weekend at the variety show

 

This weekend was one of the most exciting I've had because I participated in a variety show at school.It all started on Saturday morning when I arrived at the auditorium. The energy was electric, with students buzzing about their performances.

I was part of a group dance that we had been practicing for weeks. We wore colourful  traditional costumes and it was amazing to share this cultural art form with everyone. After our performance, I watched other acts, including a skit. Each performance was unique and kept everyone entertained. It was so inspiring to see my classmates shine! 

In the evening, we all gathered for a final group performance. Everyone was excited, and we cheered for each other, celebrating our hard work. After the show, we had a little party with snacks and music.

On Sunday, I took some time to relax. I reflected on the fun experiences of the weekend and felt proud of what we accomplished. Participating in the variety show not only brought us closer as a school community but also gave me the chance to express myself creatively.

My trip to Rangjung, Trashigang

 I went to Rangjung ,Trashigang to attend the opening ceremony of the new built Phurpa Lhakhang(Kilaya Temple) at Rangjung wodsel chhoeling Monastery and the consecration ceremony of the newly constructed temple was performed by his holiness Garab Rinpoche and was grace by many devotees and spiritual leaders on the first day of February this year. The journey was tiring as we had to cross two Dzongkhags to reach the destination but was also delighted at the same time as I was traveling to the place for first time. Next we visited the historical Dzong which was built by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal in 1659.We were blessed and honored to visit and learn about various temples and religious sites at Trashigang.The hall of the monastery was filled with laughter and melodious song sung by Dharma practitioners and people of Trashigang.As I watched people dance,I felt very happy and was honored to share these moments with people I loved and admire.After having lunch,I went to Chador Lhakhang to seek the precious blessing from the statue of Chador.In the evening,we got to attend the precious Varja Kilaya Drupchen which was performed by the spiritual leaders and monks of the Temple and was fortunate enough to witness the great Varja Kilaya Mask Dance which was performed to ward off evil forces and for the beneficial of sentient beings.After that,we went to Khandro la’s maternal house to have dinner and got a chance to meet and interact with people from different backgrounds and country.Through my experience I got to learn about my own culture and I understood that religion can unite people no matter where you come from.
